This year the team have charted a bit of a west east course, cutting across into crow-eater land before diving down to the coast at Cuduna, then back through the Eyre Penninsula. As we saw last year the trek is always open to some last minute changes, but the rough course at this stage is as follows:
Day 1, Wednesday October 10th: Bendigo to Burra, South Australia.
Day 2, Thursday October 11th: Burra across to Port Augusta, down to Iron Knob and on to Moonarie near Lake Gairdner
Day 3, Friday October 12th: Moonarie to Malboona, at the top of Goog's Track.
Days 4 and 5, Saturday and Sunday October 13th and 14th: Two days to come down the track and into Ceduna on the coast.
Day 6, Monday October 15th: Ceduna along the coast to Streaky Bay.
Day 7 and 8, Tuesday and Wednesday October 16th and 17th: Streaky Bay up through the Gawler Ranges.
Day 9, Thursday October 18th: Gawler Ranges to Lake Gilies.
Day 10, Friday October 19th: Lake Gillies to somewhere east of Burra, depending on how we are travelling.
Day 11, Saturday 20th of October: From wherever we landed the previous night to home.
